Borussia Dortmund is apparently encouraging Jadon Sancho to take action and push for a move away from Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window. Sancho, the English footballer, came back to BVB on loan in January following issues with Manchester United's head coach Erik ten Hag.

During his second stint with the German team, Sancho has played three times, providing two assists, although he missed the last game against Heidenheim due to injury. Currently, the 23-year-old is set to return to Manchester United at the end of the season, with more than two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.

There's a possibility of Sancho reviving his career at Man United if he apologizes to Ten Hag, but indications suggest he's likely to leave permanently this summer, with Dortmund eager to secure him on a long-term basis.

According to reports from German journalist Christian Falk on CaughtOffside, Manchester United is demanding a fee between £40m and £50m to let Sancho go permanently after this season.

However, Dortmund can't meet this price, so they're hoping Sancho will put pressure on United to lower their demands. Sancho began the season playing for Manchester United in their first three Premier League matches but was absent for the game against Arsenal due to issues with his performance in training, leading to a fallout with Ten Hag.

Afterward, Sancho voiced his frustration on social media, feeling unfairly targeted, and his refusal to apologize led to his exclusion from the first-team setup entirely. Several clubs were interested in loaning him, but Dortmund managed to secure his return, having previously played for them from 2017 to 2021.

Sancho has struggled to shine at Old Trafford, with only 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances across all competitions. His future at Manchester United is uncertain and could hinge on Ten Hag's situation, as the coach's position is not secure.

Overall, Sancho has a strong history with Dortmund, having played 140 times for the club, scoring 50 goals and providing 66 assists. He reportedly desires a permanent return to the German side.
