Manchester City is reportedly considering the possibility of demanding a fee exceeding £50 million for their playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne, next summer. This comes in light of growing interest from Saudi Arabian clubs in the 32-year-old Belgian.

Kevin De Bruyne holds the distinction of being Manchester City's longest-serving player under Pep Guardiola's current squad, with an impressive eight-year tenure at the Etihad Stadium. During his time there, he has solidified his status as one of the club's all-time greats, amassing a record of 96 goals, 153 assists, and an impressive collection of 14 trophies, including five Premier League titles and the coveted Champions League.

De Bruyne, who is currently recovering from a long-term hamstring injury, is set to see his contract with Manchester City expire in June 2025. However, there are no guarantees that the club will choose to extend his deal, sparking rumors of a possible exit. Notably, several Saudi Arabian clubs have shown significant interest in the playmaker.

According to reports from Football Insider, De Bruyne is considered a 'serious target' for Saudi Pro League clubs in the summer of 2024, and they are planning to intensify their pursuit in the near future. While De Bruyne is content at Manchester City, the prospect of an enticing financial offer from Saudi clubs could potentially sway his decision.

Manchester City is not inclined to part ways with De Bruyne in the upcoming January transfer window, especially with the midfielder expected to return from injury. However, they might be open to entertaining offers exceeding £50 million for the Belgian next summer.

It's worth noting that De Bruyne is among the latest elite players linked with a lucrative move to the Middle East, alongside Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, who reportedly turned down a £150 million offer in the summer. Whether Pep Guardiola is willing to let go of De Bruyne next summer remains uncertain, especially given the loss of several star players in recent years, such as Mahrez and Gundogan who left the club last summer.

These developments coincide with reports suggesting that Manchester City is showing interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala, with Guardiola actively pursuing the Germany international.
