Reports suggest that Al-Ittihad has tabled a staggering £215 million offer for Liverpool's star forward, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian football sensation, who remains bound by contract until June 2025, has been a subject of transfer speculation, notably linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League over the past several weeks.

Al-Ittihad significantly intensified their interest last week, making a £150 million bid on the final day of the English transfer window. Liverpool rebuffed this initial approach but has been preparing for an improved offer, given that the Saudi transfer window remains open until Thursday.

In a final bid to secure Salah's signature this summer, representatives from Al-Ittihad traveled to London over the weekend. According to reports from The Sun, the Saudi Arabian club has returned with a world-record bid that could reach £215 million, inclusive of various add-ons.

The offer extends to Salah a remarkable weekly contract worth £2.45 million, complemented by attractive incentives. These incentives include a substantial share of shirt sales and a £55,000 bonus for each victory.

Moreover, Salah has been presented with ambassadorial roles by at least three major Saudi corporations, each willing to remunerate him with £6 million. It's reported that Al-Ittihad is currently awaiting a response to this latest proposal but may renew their interest in January if they fail to secure the 31-year-old's signature before Thursday's deadline.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, has sought to downplay speculations surrounding Salah's potential departure but acknowledged the possibility of the forward moving to Saudi Arabia next summer.

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai recently revealed that Salah has expressed his desire to remain at Anfield. On the field, both Salah and Szoboszlai demonstrated their prowess by scoring in Liverpool's 3-0 victory against Aston Villa on Sunday, maintaining the Reds' unbeaten start to the season.

Since his arrival at Liverpool in 2017, Salah has made 309 appearances across all competitions, amassing an impressive record of 188 goals and 81 assists.
