Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua recently crossed paths in Saudi Arabia ahead of their respective fights in the Kingdom. This meeting signifies the growing influence of Saudi Arabia on boxing, paving the way for unprecedented events in the sport, such as crossover fights between MMA and boxing stars, collaborations between rival promotional companies, and bringing together boxers who have never interacted before.

A recent photo captured Joshua alongside Fury, Francis Ngannou, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Turki Alalshikh, the Saudi Chief of Entertainment, showcasing the convergence of sporting icons facilitated by Saudi's involvement in boxing.

Despite the seemingly cordial atmosphere, Fury took to social media to send a warning to Joshua. This came after Joshua predicted Usyk's victory in their upcoming undisputed fight on May 18. Fury wasn't pleased with Joshua's prediction and expressed his sentiments in a post shared on X by Queensberry Promotions.

“Only in AJ’s dreams can Usyk ever beat me! I’ll wipe the floor with both you bums!”

The reality is, Joshua might actually lean towards rooting for Fury to win the four-belt world title match. There's speculation that if Fury triumphs and Joshua also wins his upcoming fight against Ngannou this weekend, it could set the stage for their long-awaited showdown.

However, Carl Froch has expressed some reservations about the potential match-up.
