According to reports, Sergio Ramos is considering a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the 2022-23 season. The veteran center-back played in 33 Ligue 1 matches last season, helping PSG win the French league title, although they couldn't secure the Champions League.

Ramos had joined PSG from Real Madrid in 2021 and played 58 games for the club before his association with them ended in June after just two years. PSG has already seen Lionel Messi leave for Inter Miami this summer, and there may be more players making a move from Ligue 1 to North America.

The latest report suggests that Ramos is interested in the MLS move but is also considering other offers as he plans the next step in his long and illustrious career. PSG had offered him a contract extension, but the reduced salary made his decision to leave the club easier.

While clubs in Saudi Arabia have shown interest in signing Ramos for the upcoming Pro League season, the player himself is said to prefer a move to the United States. Inter Miami, where Messi now plays, could be a potential destination for Ramos, especially since they have recently acquired Sergio Busquets from Barcelona.

Brazilian teams are also closely monitoring Ramos's situation as a free agent, although it seems unlikely that the 37-year-old would move to South America for the first time in his career.

Sevilla, his former club in La Liga, is also mentioned as a possible option if Ramos wants to return to Spain before retiring. However, it remains to be seen whether he would want to face off against his former employers, Real Madrid.

As he searches for a new club this summer, Ramos is working on maintaining his fitness on his own. Meanwhile, PSG will start their Ligue 1 defense by facing Lorient at Parc Des Princes on August 12.
