Rodri's incredible streak continues as he completed his 48th Premier League match without ending up on the losing side after the game at Craven Cottage. His remarkable run is second only to former Arsenal player Sol Campbell, who went undefeated for 56 matches between November 2002 and October 2004.

Not only did Rodri contribute to his team's success, but he also played a part in setting a new English football record for the longest winning streak against a single opponent.

With a two-point lead over Arsenal, Manchester City now eagerly await the outcome of Arsenal's match against Manchester United on Sunday. Pep Guardiola's squad will return to action on Tuesday with an away game against Tottenham Hotspur in North London.
