According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are really interested in Manchester City's playmaker, Bernardo Silva, and they're ready to pay his €60m (£51m) release clause to bring him to their squad this summer.

Since joining City in 2017, the 29-year-old has become a key player under Pep Guardiola, scoring 63 goals and providing 62 assists in 335 games across all competitions. His recent goal against Copenhagen in the Champions League adds to his impressive record this season, with eight goals in 29 games.

Last summer, clubs like PSG, Barcelona, and even teams from Saudi Arabia, such as Al-Hilal, were interested in Bernardo. Now, PSG seems determined to revive their pursuit of him for the 2024-25 season.

According to reports, PSG's manager, Luis Enrique, has given the go-ahead to intensify their efforts to sign Bernardo, with the French champions ready to meet his release clause.

Although Bernardo signed a contract extension with Man City until 2026 just last September, rumors persist about his potential departure.

PSG appears confident in their ability to strike a deal with Bernardo, and they're willing to make significant financial efforts to secure his signature.
