Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are gearing up to make a substantial offer of over €140m (£120m) for Arsenal's Bukayo Saka during the upcoming summer transfer window.

PSG seems to be strategizing for the next season, possibly without their star player Kylian Mbappe, who is rumored to be eyeing a departure from the Parc des Princes as his contract nears its end.

Despite Mbappe's ongoing contributions to PSG, including a recent two-goal performance against Real Sociedad, speculations about his potential move to Real Madrid have prompted PSG to consider alternative attacking options.

Alongside Saka, players like Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Rafael Leao from AC Milan, and Marcus Rashford from Manchester United are reportedly on PSG's radar.

According to sources, PSG views Saka as a viable replacement for Mbappe and is willing to make a record-breaking offer of at least €140m (£120m) to secure the 22-year-old winger. Such an offer could entice Arsenal, potentially representing a significant financial gain for the club, surpassing the £35m received from Liverpool for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017.

However, Arsenal seems hesitant to part ways with Saka, considering him a crucial asset to the team's success. Saka has earned a special place among fans and has become instrumental under manager Mikel Arteta's leadership. Since his debut in 2018, Saka has consistently delivered impressive performances, tallying 54 goals and 55 assists in 214 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal.

His standout performances have not gone unnoticed, as he leads Arsenal's scoring charts this season with 16 goals and 13 assists, significantly outperforming his teammates. Moreover, Saka's impact extends beyond club football, as he has also excelled on the international stage with England, earning recognition from national team coach Gareth Southgate.

Having signed a long-term contract with Arsenal last year, Saka's future seems intertwined with the club until 2027, further complicating PSG's pursuit of the talented winger.
