Liverpool is reportedly eyeing Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo as a potential transfer target. Despite being only 18 years old, Moscardo has garnered attention from some of the biggest clubs in European football due to his breakthrough in his native Brazil.

The young midfielder has already made 23 appearances for the Brazilian giants, with 16 of them coming in the top flight during 2023. Although Moscardo is under contract with Corinthians until July 2026, there are suggestions that he might leave Neo Química Arena as early as January.

Addressing speculation about his future, Moscardo hinted that he expects interest at the end of the current Brazilian season. Clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona have already shown interest in the teenager, with Chelsea reportedly exploring a deal last summer.

While Barcelona is keeping an eye on the situation, the Evening Standard reports that Corinthians might demand as much as £26m, a figure that may be challenging for the Catalan giants to meet. However, the same report suggests that Liverpool is also keen on Moscardo and could attempt to outmaneuver their rivals, both domestically and internationally.
