According to reports, Liverpool are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City this summer and are willing to pay £35m.

The Englishman is open to the move. Phillips joined Man City from Leeds United last summer, but his time at the Etihad has been blighted by injury problems, when fit he's found it hard to get game time and even break into the starting eleven.

With John Stones emergence as a holding midfielder, a move away from the Etihad city will be a welcomed development for Philips.
