Manchester City is facing a tough setback with a triple injury blow after their Champions League match against Copenhagen. Despite securing a 3-1 victory, the team is facing potential challenges due to injuries.

Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden scored crucial goals, giving City a comfortable lead for the second leg next month. However, Silva's celebration was cut short as he limped off the field with a suspected ankle injury.

Manager Guardiola confirmed Silva's injury, describing it as a "big knock in his ankle." This adds to the earlier injury woe when Jack Grealish was forced off in the first half due to an off-the-ball incident shortly after City's opening goal.

"I did not speak with the doctor but it looks muscular. It's a pity, in the last days his attitude in training was much much better. He helps us find the right tempo."

This marked Grealish's first start since their 5-0 victory against Huddersfield Town in early January, but unfortunately, it didn't last long as he had to leave the pitch within just 20 minutes, despite his efforts to continue.

Since that FA Cup win, the 28-year-old has only managed to play for 18 minutes, which is concerning especially with the European Championships looming just four months away.

Adding to the injury concerns, Manchester City manager also mentioned that Josko Gvardiol will be sidelined for a short period after missing the match tonight, explaining;

"Josko will be out for two to three weeks due to an ankle ligament injury."
