According to reports, Manchester United is open to the possibility of selling Jadon Sancho in the upcoming summer transfer window, as several clubs have expressed interest in the player.

Sancho, who joined Old Trafford in the summer of 2021, had an impressive record at Borussia Dortmund, with 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances during his successful tenure. However, the 23-year-old has struggled to showcase his best form during his two seasons at Manchester United, managing only 12 goals and six assists in 79 appearances.

Although Sancho had a significant role for Erik ten Hag's team during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring in 41 matches across all competitions and contributing seven goals and three assists, he did miss a portion of the season due to off-the-field issues.

In the Premier League, Sancho contributed six goals and three assists in 26 appearances, helping Manchester United secure a third-place finish and a return to the Champions League for the 2023-24 season. Nevertheless, there are ongoing speculations surrounding the future of the England international, with recent reports linking Tottenham Hotspur, Napoli, and Paris Saint-Germain with potential interest in the player.

According to FootballTransfers, Manchester United is open to discussions regarding Sancho's transfer and has listed a £60 million price tag for the talented attacker. However, Unai Emery's side is reportedly not willing to meet that valuation. Despite the potential interest from Aston Villa, negotiations between the two clubs have not yet commenced. Manchester United holds a strong position regarding Sancho's future, as he is under contract until June 2026, with the option of an additional 12 months.

Sancho's recent struggles with the Red Devils have resulted in him being excluded from the England squad. However, a strong 2023-24 campaign could potentially put him back in contention for a spot in the squad for Euro 2024.

Although Manchester United is not actively seeking to sell Sancho due to their lack of options in the final third of the field, it is worth noting that Wout Weghorst's permanent transfer from Burnley is not expected to materialize, further affecting their attacking options.
