Reports suggest that Fulham has been presented with the opportunity to sign Al-Ahli forward Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian made the move to the Saudi Arabian club in the summer after an eight-year association with Liverpool.

Despite a promising start with a hat-trick in his Saudi Pro League debut, Firmino has struggled to find the net in his subsequent 18 appearances for Al-Ahli. With his form not at its best, there are indications that he might consider leaving the club in the January window. According to talkSPORT, Fulham, along with other Premier League teams, has been offered the chance to acquire the services of the former Liverpool striker.

Fulham has been on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who moved to Saudi Arabia in the summer. While Raul Jimenez has been performing well in recent games, scoring five goals in his last seven Premier League appearances, manager Marco Silva is keen to strengthen the forward options, especially with rumors of potential departures for Carlos Vinicius and Rodrigo Muniz from Craven Cottage.

Whether Fulham is seriously considering a move for Firmino remains unclear, but his experience would undoubtedly be a valuable addition to Silva's squad.

During his time at Liverpool, Firmino scored 82 goals in 256 Premier League appearances and achieved success with the team, winning the Premier League in 2019-20, as well as the FA Cup, EFL Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.

Apart from Fulham, Sheffield United had also shown interest in Firmino before the departure of Paul Heckingbottom. Additionally, Al Ettifaq, managed by Firmino's former teammate Steven Gerrard, has been mentioned as a potential destination for the former Brazil international.
