The 2022/23 season is the 52nd season of this club competition, the 14th since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League, and the second since the new format was introduced. Where will the 2023 Europa League final be held?​

Budapest will host its first major European men's final when the UEFA Europa League decider takes place at the Puskás Aréna in 2022/23. The venue was originally scheduled to host the 2022 final, but in June 2020, it was agreed that the Puskás Aréna would host the 2023 decider instead.
