According to recent reports, Manchester United are increasing their efforts to sign Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. The Red Devils are allegedly looking for a new centre-back this summer, as the futures of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof remain uncertain. Although Lisandro Martinez has formed an excellent partnership with Raphael Varane, Maguire has only started seven Premier League games this season, and Lindelof has been mainly on the fringes of the team.

Therefore, Man United may need to look for replacements, with Kim identified as a potential transfer target. The club is rumored to be preparing a €60m (£53.2m) bid for the South Korean, whose contract with Napoli expires in June 2025 with an option for two more years. There is a release clause in his contract that becomes active between July 1 and July 15 this year, which is believed to be similar to or slightly lower than Man United's offer.

Tottenham Hotspur is also thought to be interested in the 26-year-old defender, but Man United appears to be pushing ahead with their plans to sign him. Kim joined Napoli last summer from Fenerbahce, and he quickly became a crucial part of the team, playing 42 matches in all competitions this season.

Napoli recently won the Serie A title, with Kim contributing significantly to their success. Meanwhile, Manchester United is currently in fourth place in the Premier League, with a one-point advantage over Liverpool, who have played two more games than the Red Devils.

Reports suggest that Manchester United is keen on signing Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. They're in search of a new center-back due to uncertainty surrounding Maguire and Lindelof's futures. United might prepare a €60m bid for the 26-year-old South Korean, who played impressively in 42 matches for Napoli this season. Tottenham Hotspur is interested too, but United seems determined. Kim's contribution to Napoli's Serie A win makes him an appealing prospect. As a passionate United fan, I'm thrilled about the potential addition of Kim to strengthen our defense alongside Maguire and Varane. Fingers crossed for a successful transfer! Come on, United!

Kim Min-Jae's arrival is subject to United selling at least 2 center backs. Eric Bailly is returning from his loan spell at Marseille, so that leaves United with 5 senior center backs.

Seems Guardiola is also look for a new center back since Laporte wants to leave. I wouldn't mind Kim Min-Jae, he's a no nonsense defender, and it would be really nice if we snap him instead of UNITED 😁

Utd needs 2 CBs, a DM to backup Casemiro, an engine CM to partner Casemiro, a winger like Adama Traore shirt No7 and finally a target man striker who can play directly at the defenders the way Rashford & Garnacho do; like Randall from France & Ivan Toney of Brentford. Sancho should rebuild his form on loan back at Dortmund. And finally a new GK to bench DeGea permanently. No offense David
