Vardy, 37, found the net with Leicester's first shot on target, heading in a cross from Abdul Fatawu just before the hour mark. His goal equalized Pedro Porro's first-half opener for Spurs, who had dominated the first 45 minutes and could have been ahead by more.
Tottenham’s summer signing Dominic Solanke, who could cost up to £65 million, missed several chances early on, including two headers straight at Leicester's goalkeeper, Mads Hermansen.
Vardy’s equalizer energized Leicester, and they nearly grabbed all three points. Vardy had another chance to win it but was denied by Tottenham’s goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario.

Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was forced off in the second half following a serious collision. He received oxygen and was stretchered off after a five-minute delay. However, manager Ange Postecoglou later confirmed that Bentancur was "conscious and communicating."
