Dubois has shown impressive form, with only one setback when an eye injury forced him to take a 10 count in his all-British matchup with Joe Joyce in 2020. Otherwise, he has delivered 18 knockouts out of 19 opponents, with a notable 10-round points victory over the experienced American Kevin Johnson in October 2018.
Speaking to Pro Boxing Fans, Frazer Clarke, a heavyweight contender with a 7-0 record, including wins against Mariusz Wach and Bogdan Dinu, shared his insights and positive outlook on the upcoming fight between Dubois and Usyk.
“He has the punch power. He has the punch power. It only takes one shot. Skills, he and Usyk are in different stratospheres, but it’s a fight, let’s strip it all back, it’s two men in a ring punching each other. If he catches him right, Daniel can put him sleep.”
With new trainer Don Charles in his corner, Dubois is confident as he enters the ring, believing that they can achieve a significant upset in the heavyweight clash in Poland.
However, should Usyk emerge victorious, he is eager to resume talks with the division's other champion, Tyson Fury, in pursuit of an undisputed bout.
