According to reports, Brighton & Hove Albion have received an apology from the PGMOL after they were denied a clear penalty in their controversial 2-1 defeat at Tottenham yesterday. Spurs secured a 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in North London, with goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, despite a number of controversial officiating decisions going in their favor.

The match was not without drama, as both Christian Stellini and Roberto De Zerbi were sent off for their part in a touchline bust-up before kickoff. Brighton had two goals disallowed for handball and were also denied what appeared to be a clear penalty, while Spurs struggled to contain the visitors' attacks.

However, they ultimately secured the win to keep them three points behind Newcastle United and Manchester United in fifth place in the table. Brighton, on the other hand, dropped to seventh and will face a trip to Chelsea in their next match, while Spurs will take on Bournemouth at home.

An apology doesn't give them any points. They should fix their corruption instead.
