AJ Styles reveals why he turned down WWE offer in 2022

WWE superstar, AJ Styles had revealed the reason why he rejected a developmental contract with the WWE in 2002 because he wanted his wife Wendy to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher in Georgia.

Styles was quoted as saying

I told WWE I really appreciate this, but I can’t move to Cincinnati and leave my family. I felt my wife's dream came first, she wanted to be a teacher and didn't want to ruin that. I think it was the best decision I've ever made in my life.

AJ decided to sign for TNA, where he became a well-known wrestler and one of the best in the world, finally years later he joined WWE in 2016.
