Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly keen to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer this summer. The 28-year-old striker is currently without a club after his contract with Everton ran out at the end of June, bringing an end to his nine-year stint at Goodison Park.

During his time with the Toffees, Calvert-Lewin scored 71 goals and provided 22 assists in 273 appearances. His standout season came in 2020–21, when he hit a career-best 16 goals in the Premier League.

However, persistent injury issues plagued the latter part of his Everton career, which caused several interested clubs to back away due to concerns over his fitness.
While Manchester United were previously linked with a potential move, more recent reports suggest a deal for the former Sheffield United forward now looks unlikely.
