RaĂșl GonzĂĄlez Blanco, commonly known as RaĂșl, is a retired Spanish footballer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of Real Madrid and Spanish football. He was born on June 27, 1977, in Madrid, Spain.

RaĂșl began his professional career at Real Madrid in 1994, at the age of 17. He quickly established himself as a key player for the team, and went on to become the club's all-time top scorer, with 323 goals in 741 appearances across all competitions. During his 16-year stint with Real Madrid, RaĂșl won six La Liga titles, three UEFA Champions League titles, and two Intercontinental Cups, among other honours.

RaĂșl also had a successful international career, representing the Spanish national team from 1996 to 2006. He scored 44 goals in 102 appearances for Spain, and played in two World Cups and two European Championships.

After leaving Real Madrid in 2010, RaĂșl played for Schalke 04 in Germany, Al-Sadd in Qatar, and the New York Cosmos in the United States. He retired from professional football in 2015, and currently works as a club ambassador for Real Madrid.

RaĂșl was known for his clinical finishing, excellent movement, and leadership on the field. He was also a versatile player, capable of playing as a striker, attacking midfielder, or on the wing. His impact on Real Madrid and Spanish football is still felt today, and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation.
