A footballer in Peru was sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct after allegedly urinating by the side of the pitch during a match.

Sebastian Munoz, a striker for Atletico Awajun, was caught on video appearing to relieve himself while waiting to take a corner kick. At the time, the opposing team's goalkeeper was receiving treatment, and Munoz had his back turned to the camera, facing an area without spectators.

Despite the discreet positioning, players from Cantorcillo FC noticed the incident and alerted the referee, who then issued Munoz a red card.

Peruvian football officials and Atletico Awajun have yet to comment on the incident. Atletico Awajun, who play in the third division, are currently competing in the play-offs for the Copa Peru.
