Liverpool are said to be growing increasingly confident of signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham. Since joining Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020, the 19-year-old has contributed 10 goals and 18 assists in 90 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Last season, the England international scored six goals and supplied 14 assists in 44 games across all competitions, and a number of the world's top teams are reported to be interested in signing him. Real Madrid and Manchester United are both thought to be interested in signing the midfielder next summer, but Liverpool have also been widely connected with him in recent months. Liverpool are confident of winning the race for the kid, according to Football Insider, and might reach an agreement with Dortmund during the January transfer window.

According reports, Bellingham might arrive at Anfield at the start of the year, however, he is most likely to join Jurgen Klopp's squad ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Liverpool supposedly had new conversations about signing the teenager last week and are currently in a strong position to sign him despite interest from a number of other top European clubs. The Reds are considered to be willing to pay €100 million (£85 million) to recruit the former Birmingham youth, while Real Madrid are thought to be willing to commit to a €90 million (£76.5 million) agreement for 2023.

Bellingham scored three goals and had eight assists in 32 Bundesliga matches in 2021-22, as well as six appearances in the Champions League. Dortmund will not sell Bellingham during the current transfer window, but there are reports that he will be on the move ahead of the 2023-24 season.
