Marc Kosicke, the agent of Jurgen Klopp, has downplayed the rumors about Liverpool's manager taking on the role of the new coach for the German national team. Currently, Germany doesn't have a permanent head coach after Hansi Flick was dismissed following a 4-1 loss to Japan in a friendly match.

Hansi Flick, the former Bayern Munich manager, was let go due to a poor record, winning only four of his last 17 matches in charge of the German national team. Rudi Voller has been temporarily placed in charge for the recent friendly against France in Dortmund, where Germany won 2-1 with goals from Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane.

Now that the international period is ending and players are returning to their clubs, the DFB (German Football Association) is focusing on finding a new manager. With Germany hosting Euro 2024 next summer and more international fixtures coming up in October and November, they are eager to appoint Flick's successor as soon as possible.

Recent reports suggested that Jurgen Klopp is among the eight candidates being considered, and he is seen as Germany's preferred choice. However, Klopp's agent has dismissed the idea that his client will become the new head coach of the German national team.

Speaking to Sportschau on Tuesday evening, Kosicke stated:

"Jurgen has a long-term contract with LFC and is not available for the national coaching position."

Klopp, who took over as Liverpool's manager in 2015, has a contract with the Merseyside club that still has three years left. Since joining Liverpool, Klopp has played a significant role in the team's success, helping them secure titles in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and the Community Shield.

Now, the 56-year-old is focused on Liverpool's upcoming Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which is scheduled for Saturday. Liverpool aims to keep their undefeated streak going, having earned 10 points from their first four games of the season.
