The spotlight was on season ticket pricing across various European leagues in anticipation of the new season. How does the scenario unfold in Spain's renowned La Liga?

Rayo Vallecano supporters enjoy the most economical option, with adult season tickets spanning from €230 to €760. Villarreal claims the second most budget-friendly season ticket range, priced between €235 and €900.

Getafe secures the third spot in affordability for season tickets, offering both the least and most expensive variants. A seat at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez can be secured for the season at prices ranging from 240 euros to 490 euros.

Barcelona stands out with surprisingly reasonable rates, allowing fans to purchase season tickets ranging from 255 euros to 870 euros. This reduction is attributed to the club's temporary move to the Olympic Stadium on Montjuic Mountain, prompted by Camp Nou's redevelopment.

Real Madrid provides a cost-effective entry point with season tickets starting at 286 euros. However, the top-tier option commands a much heftier sum, totaling 2307 euros, equivalent to approximately 56 thousand crowns.

When it comes to high-end pricing, Real Betis takes the lead, presenting the least expensive season ticket at 480 euros. The club justifies these rates by citing its extensive fan base.

In Cadiz, the situation is more challenging for explaining ticket prices to fans. Despite the club's diminishing fan base and absence from European competitions, the management has surprisingly set the second highest season ticket rates in La Liga. These tickets can be purchased for prices ranging from 450 euros to 1325 euros. This move has sparked significant discontent among fans who lament the steep costs.

Still cheaper than the EPL, they have the highest seasons ticket pricing

Barcelona up to thirteenth in season ticket sales in La Liga!

Barcelona is looking for ways to get back into a good financial position. One of the options management has chosen is to renovate the stadium, which will then bring in more revenue. But the 2023/24 season must be played in the Olympic Stadium, where fan interest has waned.

The Blaugranas boast the biggest stadium in Spain, the sacred Camp Nou can hold up to 99,000 spectators. However, it’s getting pretty old and the bowels of the stadium are a bit dilapidated, so the management decided to remodel.

Only, because of this, they have to play the 2023/24 season at the Olympic Stadium Montjuic. That’s why Barcelona hasn’t raised the price of season tickets and offers them at very attractive prices – the cheapest starting at 300 euros.

In addition, it has offered to extend the possibility of obtaining a season ticket to ordinary socios who normally do not have access to permanent tickets at Camp Nou.

But Barcelona fans have turned their backs on the club. Only 17 064 season tickets were sold. That is a small number indeed. The Blaugranas have fallen to 13th place.
