12 seasons ago, Neymar was winning the Copa Libertadores with Santos. At 19, he was the best player of the tournament and had solidified his status as one of the most promising South American jewels of ALL TIME.

🏆 With Santos, he won, besides the Libertadores, the Paulista championship for 3 consecutive years, being the top scorer of all Brazilian competitions in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

😢 He was meant to be fighting for the throne with the likes of Messi and Ronaldo, sitting at the table of the greats. However, injuries and some bad decisions kept him away from that. Some nice flashes at Barcelona, his departure to PSG looking to be the main man.

Even that Champions League run with the Parisian team in 2020, when he was looking like the best player in the world. But those were just flashes.

🤔 Now, at the age of 31, Neymar is seriously considering leaving European football, with just one Champions League and no Ballon d'Or. Many of us will wonder, if injuries let him and he focused a bit more on football, what could've been
