A match in the Serbian Interregional U16 League between two Valjevo teams, Metalac and Radnicki, ended prematurely due to a brawl in the first quarter. The altercation began with a verbal dispute between Metalac coach Vladimir Panic and Radnicki coach Aleksandar Icic over referee decisions, resulting in both coaches receiving technical fouls and being ejected.

Panic then approached the opposing team's bench, leading to a physical altercation. According to Valjevska Posla, the Metalac coach was pushed, choked, and subjected to blows from Radnicki players. One Metalac player suffered a concussion after being punched and falling during the scuffle, as reported by Hotsport. The situation escalated further as parents joined in, engaging in their own scuffle in the stands.

Law enforcement was called to the scene, and after reviewing surveillance footage, they initiated an investigation. The incident, which stems from a summer conflict when some Radnicki players moved to Metalac after the team's formation, resulted in the match being forfeited despite the referees' desire to continue. The Serbian Basketball Federation (KSS) is anticipated to issue multiple fines in the aftermath of this disruptive event.
