Real Madrid's star player Jude Bellingham showed once again why he's a force to be reckoned with, as he made history against Girona in their 4-0 La Liga win last Saturday. The match, which unexpectedly became a top-of-the-table clash, saw Carlo Ancelotti's squad dominate the field right from the start.

Despite Girona's strong performance this season, they couldn't keep up with Real Madrid's firepower at the Bernabeu. Vinicius Junior opened the scoring just six minutes into the game, setting the stage for Bellingham's remarkable performance.

Vinicius then set up Bellingham beautifully with a precise pass, allowing the Englishman to effortlessly glide past the goalkeeper and slot the ball into the net. This goal marked Bellingham's 15th of the season. Soon after, Bellingham capitalized on another opportunity, doubling his tally with an opportunistic finish after a save from Girona's goalkeeper.

Rodrygo added to the onslaught with another goal before the hour mark, securing Real Madrid's dominance. Although they missed out on a perfect performance when Joselu failed to convert a penalty in injury time, their victory cemented their five-point lead at the top of the La Liga table.

For Bellingham, it was yet another milestone in his remarkable season. Since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund, he's been setting records left and right. With his brace against Girona, he became the midfielder with the most goals in a single season for Real Madrid.

In total, Bellingham has scored an impressive 20 goals and provided eight assists in 29 matches across all competitions this season. He currently leads the race for the Golden Boot, ahead of Artem Dovbyk and Borja Mayoral. However, the celebration was dampened by Bellingham's injury concern, as he was forced to leave the field in the 57th minute due to ankle discomfort.

Despite the setback, Bellingham's resilience was evident as he left the field with an ice pack around his ankle, showing his determination to recover and continue his impressive run for Real Madrid.
