Reports suggest that teenage Arsenal striker, Folarin Balogun has no intention of signing a new deal with the club despite speculation about his future. Balogun, who was known for his goal-scoring abilities at youth level, struggled to replicate the same success at the senior level, including a lackluster loan spell at Middlesbrough in the second half of the previous season.

However, the 21-year-old has impressed with his performances on loan at Reims in Ligue 1, where he has scored 18 goals in 29 matches, making him the third-highest goal-scorer in the league. Balogun's future at Arsenal remains uncertain as his contract is set to expire in 2025, and several European clubs, including AC Milan, Inter Milan, RB Leipzig, Marseille, and Monaco, are interested in signing him.

Although Balogun still hopes to lead Arsenal's frontline in the future, his chances of doing so are limited due to the competition from Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah. Therefore, a permanent move to a different league could be an attractive option for him. Balogun's decision not to sign a new deal with Arsenal is reportedly more related to his personal situation than any ill feelings towards the club.

Balogun joined Arsenal as an eight-year-old and has made ten senior appearances for the Gunners, scoring two goals and setting up one more, with all three of his goal contributions coming in the 2020-21 Europa League campaign.
