In MW2019, even with skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), there was still some room for flexibility. You could play a few intense rounds, and then get a breather. In MW3, every lobby seems to be built off strict SBMM rules, and it makes the experience feel repetitive and overly competitive.
Also, the post-match lobby disbands are killing any chance of social play or rivalries. No rematch opportunities, no familiar usernames just a constant shuffle of players every round. That’s a big part of why Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer feels disconnected, IMO.
