Aston Villa has announced that head coach Unai Emery has signed a new long-term contract. Emery recently led Villa to one of their best-ever Premier League seasons, finishing fourth and securing a spot in the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.

In recognition of this achievement, Villa's management had already extended Emery's contract in April, setting it to run until 2027. However, just over a month later, they've agreed on new terms, extending his contract further to the end of the 2028-29 season.
