Real Madrid midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga had to leave the field during France's friendly match against Chile on Tuesday due to what appears to be an ankle injury. It happened during the latter part of the first half in Marseille, and he seemed to be in a lot of pain as he was substituted.

According to reports from journalist Fabrice Hawkins, it looks like Camavinga sprained his ankle during the game. Now, medical professionals will need to evaluate him to understand how serious the injury is.

Camavinga has been a crucial player for Real Madrid this season, making 32 appearances and providing two assists across all competitions. Despite this setback, he earned his 15th cap for France on Tuesday, and if he recovers in time, he's expected to be part of their squad for the upcoming European Championship this summer.

This isn't the first time Camavinga has faced injury issues while on international duty. He previously suffered a knee injury during the November international break, causing him to miss eight matches for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has upcoming matches against Athletic Bilbao and Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final. Camavinga's injury will be assessed by the French team, and Real Madrid will also conduct their own investigations, including a scan to determine the extent of the damage.
