Manchester United has reportedly rejected a bid from Fulham for midfielder Scott McTominay. McTominay, who progressed through Manchester United's youth system, has made 252 appearances for the club.

Despite rumors of a transfer last summer, he stayed with Erik ten Hag's team and played a significant role in the 2023-24 season, featuring in 43 matches, scoring 10 goals, and providing three assists, including three contributions during their successful FA Cup campaign.

Currently, McTominay's future is uncertain due to his contract, which expires at the end of the 2024-25 season, though Manchester United has an option to extend it by another year. Recently, Galatasaray's vice-chairman Ibrahim Hatipoglu mentioned their interest in McTominay, but Fulham is also in the race.

According to the Daily Mail, Fulham's offer, which was reportedly below the £30 million bid that Manchester United rejected from West Ham United last summer, has been turned down. Fulham must now decide if they will make a higher bid for McTominay.

The Cottagers are looking to strengthen their midfield following the departure of Joao Palhinha, who moved to Bayern Munich last week for €56 million (£47.2 million). In addition to their interest in McTominay, Fulham is reportedly working on signing Brazilian midfielder Andre from Fluminense.
