The 28-year-old Jamaican winger originally signed for Villa in 2021 from Bayer Leverkusen in a £25 million deal. Over his time at Villa Park, he made 144 appearances and scored 22 goals.
Bailey had a standout season in 2023–24, netting a career-best 14 goals in 52 games across all competitions. However, his form dipped last season, managing just 2 goals in 38 matches.
Despite that, he signed a contract extension with Villa in February 2024, keeping him at the club until 2027.
