Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is reportedly being sought after by several Italian clubs, including Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan, during this summer's transfer window. The 30-year-old has had limited playing time this season, making only 28 appearances in all competitions due to his position in the team's central defense. While Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are the team's preferred center-backs, they are currently sidelined due to injuries, leaving Maguire to start in the team's remaining games. However, he is expected to leave the club in search of regular playing time in the upcoming transfer window.

Maguire has only started seven Premier League matches this season and has made his third Europa League start in the quarter-final against Sevilla. However, his mistake allowed Sevilla to take the lead, leading to a 3-0 loss on the night and a 5-2 defeat on aggregate. Maguire has been linked to several clubs, including Newcastle United, Leicester City, and Paris Saint-Germain, in recent months.

According to a report by 90min, Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan are interested in signing Maguire, who is seriously considering moving to Serie A at the end of the season. The report suggests that the clubs may look to sign Maguire on loan with options to buy in the summer of 2024. Maguire is believed to earn around £190,000 a week in wages, which may make it difficult for Manchester United to sell him during this summer's transfer window.

Maguire joined Manchester United from Leicester City in 2019 and has made 172 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals and providing five assists. He will miss Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday due to suspension, which could lead to Luke Shaw partnering with Victor Lindelof in the middle of the defense. Additionally, Marcus Rashford may return to the starting lineup against Brighton & Hove Albion, having made his comeback from injury as a substitute in the team's match against Sevilla on Thursday night.
