The 23-year-old striker, once considered one of the brightest prospects to come through Hale End, was released by Crawley Town in the summer after an injury-hit spell. Now a free agent, John-Jules has returned to London Colney to train with the young Gunners, using the opportunity to maintain fitness and showcase his ability while weighing up his next step.
John-Jules made his senior Arsenal debut in 2019 during a pre-season friendly and has since had loan spells across the EFL, including at Lincoln, Doncaster, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday, and Ipswich. While injuries have often stalled his momentum, he remains a technically gifted forward with plenty still to offer.
For Arsenal, the arrangement provides valuable experience for their U21s, while for John-Jules it could be the ideal platform to secure a new contract elsewhere.
His next chapter is still unwritten, but the return to Arsenal, even briefly, will be seen as a positive move in keeping him in the game at a crucial stage of his career.
