It's time for The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller says he’s living the dream… here he is in The World’s Most Famous Arena.
Waller mentions how they might not have seen handsome bloke like him till now, but says tonight isn’t about him.
He says Edge has an announcement tonight that will be bigger than anything that’s ever happened here. Edge makes his entrance to a big pop.
He greets New York, but Waller cuts him off and demands to make his big announcement. Waller asks why Edge is back. He says the answer is simple: becasue of them, becasue of the fans.
Edge says he will get back to Waller, but for now he want to speak to New York. He talks about his his first PLE appearance right here in this building.
Edge says New York is a city of hard workers and big dreamers, so is he... to this day. Waller abruptly interrupts and announces that Edge is retiring… give it up for him, this is his last time in MSG.
Edge says Waller was in the ring with John Cena last week, and Edge this week, so someone must see something in him.
But Waller has only been here for half a hiccough and hasn’t even had a main roster match yet, so it’s time to sink or swim.
