Anselmino's impressive debut for Boca Juniors in June 2023 marked the beginning of his rise to prominence, with the teenager going on to make 10 appearances for the Argentine giants. His rapid progress led to a contract extension in January 2024, securing his future at Boca Juniors until 2028.
This signing brings Chelsea's summer spending to a total of around £115m, as the club continues to revamp its squad. The Blues have already welcomed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga, Omari Kellyman, Filip Jorgensen, Tosin Adarabioyo, Caleb Wiley, Estevao Willian, and Marc Guiu.
To balance the books, Chelsea has generated approximately £90m through the sales of Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall, and Omari Hutchinson, with Conor Gallagher expected to join Atletico Madrid in a £33m deal.
Despite their significant investment in the squad, Chelsea remains on the hunt for a top-class striker to lead their attack, with Atletico Madrid forward Samu Omorodion emerging as a prime target.
