Former Bayern Munich president and current board member, Uli Hoeness, exudes confidence in his team's ability to secure the signing of Harry Kane during this summer's transfer window. The German champions are widely regarded as the leading contenders to acquire the services of the talented Tottenham Hotspur forward, especially as he has just over 11 months remaining on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Despite having two previous offers for the 29-year-old rejected, Bayern is undeterred and is now preparing a fresh bid for Kane. The club's optimism is growing, and even head coach Thomas Tuchel has refrained from ruling out the possibility of a move for Kane, as he addressed the matter during a press conference.

As Bayern's honorary president and deputy chairman of their supervisory board, Hoeness has hinted that Harry Kane himself desires the move to the Allianz Arena this summer. With all the pieces seemingly falling into place, Bayern Munich's pursuit of the England captain is becoming increasingly determined.

"He [Kane] signalled very clearly that his decision was made. And if it stays that way, we'll get him," Hoeness told Abendzeitung. "Levy is clever. First we have to get him to name a price.

"He plays for time, is a great professional. I appreciate him very much. But on the other side [at Bayern] there aren't any people who have been doing this since yesterday.

"He wants to play internationally [in Europe]. Tottenham won't be there next season, unlike our club. He now has another opportunity to come to a top club in Europe.

"What we really like about Kane is that his advisors, that is his father and his brother, are very pleasant. So far they have always stood by what they have promised. And if it stays that way, then that's okay."

Kane has accompanied Spurs on their Asia-Pacific tour, and it appears that he will not actively seek a transfer away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Nevertheless, the forward is eager to achieve success and secure trophies during this phase of his career. Reportedly, he sees the potential of joining Bayern as a means to elevate the club's status as serious contenders in the Champions League once more.

Bayern is actively searching for a new number nine this summer, as they have yet to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski's departure to Barcelona last year.
