Reports indicate that Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal has entered the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar this summer. Ongoing discussions are said to be taking place between the two parties.

Neymar, 31 years old, could potentially join the growing list of star players departing PSG, following Lionel Messi's move to MLS side Inter Miami from Parc des Princes.

Since his transfer from Barcelona in 2017 for a record-breaking fee, the Brazilian has won five Ligue 1 titles with PSG but has been unable to secure the coveted Champions League trophy for the club. The Mirror reports that Al-Hilal is interested in Neymar's services this summer, while Premier League side Chelsea is also keeping an eye on the playmaker.

It is believed that a delegation from Saudi Arabia traveled to Paris on Friday for initial talks regarding this potential sensational move for the player, which would involve a staggering salary.

According to the report, Neymar could receive a salary of over £170 million per year if he were to join Al-Hilal, while the transfer fee paid to PSG is estimated to be around £40 million.
