Pep Guardiola admitted he's uncertain about the extent of Rodri's injury after Manchester City's thrilling 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League. Though he quickly shook off that hit, the Spain international soon found himself on the ground again after a clash with Thomas Partey during a corner. This time, he was holding his knee in visible pain, suggesting a more serious injury. Rodri had to be substituted for Mateo Kovacic after just 20 minutes.

Without their midfield anchor, City lost the advantage Erling Haaland had given them. Arsenal's Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes turned the game around, but John Stones came off the bench to salvage a point for the champions with a late goal in the 98th minute.
