Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, is reportedly very interested in adding Bayern Munich's talented midfielder, Jamal Musiala, to his squad. Musiala, a rising star in European football, has become a crucial part of Bayern's team in recent years.

During his time with the Bayern first team, Musiala has notched an impressive record, scoring 33 goals and providing 26 assists in 135 competitive matches. It's no surprise that his consistent high-level performances have caught the attention of several top European clubs.

According to a recent report, both Premier League giants, Manchester City and Liverpool, are eyeing a move for this promising young talent. Christian Falk, a journalist from Bild, has indicated that Guardiola is actively pursuing the 20-year-old player for the Champions League-winning team.

Musiala's primary position is as an attacking midfielder, but he is also well-versed in playing on the wings and in slightly deeper roles.

If Manchester City manages to secure his services, Musiala would likely provide stiff competition for players like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku, and Phil Foden.

In addition to Manchester City and Liverpool, Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid is also closely monitoring Musiala's situation at the German champions. The young German international still has a few years left on his current contract, set to expire in the summer of 2026.

While Musiala is open to the idea of joining Manchester City or Real Madrid, Bayern remains confident about reaching a new contract agreement with him.

Musiala played a crucial role in Tuesday's Champions League match against Galatasaray, scoring the final goal in a 3-1 victory. He has now scored in his last two European appearances and has also contributed three assists in his ten competitive matches this season.
