According to TBR Football, scouts from both Liverpool and City attended Shakhtar’s recent Champions League game against Atalanta, focusing on Sudakov. The Premier League clubs plan to continue monitoring his performances ahead of a possible move next summer.
Sudakov, a product of Shakhtar’s youth academy, has played 110 games for the club, contributing 23 goals and 19 assists. His standout performances this season have come in the Ukrainian Premier Liga, with goals in his last two league matches.
On the international stage, Sudakov has earned 22 caps for Ukraine, scoring three goals and assisting five times, including a recent strike against the Czech Republic. Manchester City reportedly see him as a potential long-term successor to Kevin De Bruyne, as the Belgian enters the later stages of his career with the club.
