Jacque Vaughn, who took over as head coach of the Brooklyn Nets after Steve Nash's departure, has decided to make changes to his coaching staff ahead of his first full season in the role. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Nets organization has decided to part ways with assistant coaches Igor Kokoskov, Brian Keefe, and Tiago Splitter. Kokoskov was only with the team for one season, while Splitter had been a part of the franchise since 2019.

Under Vaughn's leadership, the Nets won 43 of their 75 games this season. The team was involved in two major trades that sent their two biggest stars, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, to the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, respectively. Following the loss of these stars, the Nets finished the season with a 13-15 record in the remaining games and were swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Nets hold two first-round picks in the upcoming NBA Draft: their own and the one they received in the Durant trade.
