Bournemouth have struck a £12.6 million deal with Juventus to sign defender Dean Huijsen. This fee could increase to £15.2 million, contingent on various conditions. Huijsen is scheduled to undergo a medical examination with Bournemouth soon.

At just 19 years old, Huijsen is set to become Bournemouth's sixth signing this summer, following the arrivals of Luis Sinisterra, Enes Unal, Alex Paulsen, Daniel Jebbison, and Koby Mottoh.

Born in the Netherlands, Huijsen represented their national youth teams up to the Under-19 level. He moved to Spain at the age of five and became a Spanish citizen this year, making his debut for Spain's Under-21 team in March.

Huijsen began his football journey with Costa Unida before joining Malaga in 2015. Three years ago, he signed with Juventus, initially playing for their Under-17 team. He made his debut for Juventus against AC Milan in October, which remains his only appearance for the club. In the second half of last season, he was loaned to Roma, where he made 13 appearances and scored two goals.
