Barcelona Women secured their second Women's Champions League title with a remarkable comeback, overcoming a two-goal deficit to defeat Wolfsburg Women 3-2 at the Philips Stadion.

Wolfsburg, appearing in their sixth Champions League final, got off to a flying start against the reigning European champions. Ewa Pajor, the competition's leading scorer, found the net in the third minute, giving the German side an early lead. Wolfsburg seemed on track for a comfortable victory when Alexandra Popp headed home from Pajor's exceptional cross.

However, Barcelona's Patri Guijarro single-handedly turned the tide of the game, scoring two quick goals in the opening minutes of the second half. The stunning comeback was completed in the 70th minute when Fridolina Rolfo took advantage of a defensive error and found the back of the net to seal the winning goal.

While Barcelona celebrates their second European triumph, Wolfsburg has now suffered defeat in their last four Champions League finals. Barcelona, who conceded early in last season's final against Lyon, aimed to avoid a similar setback. Yet, Wolfsburg capitalized on a lapse in Barcelona's defense to take an early lead through Pajor's thunderous strike.

Despite the disappointing start, Barcelona came close to equalizing in the 13th minute when Irene Paredes missed a glorious opportunity from a corner. Barcelona dominated possession in the first half, but Wolfsburg showcased their clinical finishing to double their lead before halftime. Pajor turned provider, delivering a pinpoint cross for Popp to head home her 23rd goal of the season.

However, Barcelona mounted an incredible comeback soon after the restart. Caroline Graham Hansen's skillful play set up Guijarro to pull one back, and just two minutes later, Guijarro struck again, using a combination of head and shoulder to guide the ball into the net from Aitana Bonmati's lofted pass.

While Wolfsburg attempted to regain the lead through Pajor, who was thwarted by Sandra Panos on multiple occasions, it was Barcelona who completed the turnaround. In the 70th minute, Wolfsburg failed to clear the ball, allowing Rolfo to calmly sidefoot it past the goalkeeper.

Wolfsburg fought hard for a late equalizer, but Barcelona's defense held strong, securing their third trophy of the season to add to their league title and Spanish Super Cup.
