There are rumours that Bayern can't buy Florian Wirtz without selling Jamal Musiala, but that's not true.

They also did to Kane, as many thought Bayern wouldn't pay €100 million, but they did. Uli Hoeneß said this can't be done every year, nor any player, but every few years, €100-150 million can be paid to an exceptional player.

That's the amount they need to sign Wirtz. And if they really believe that Wirtz is the person who will be the face of Bayern in the next 5 to 10 years, I think they'll find a way to make that happen financially.

Florian Wirtz has a very good opinion of FC Bayern as a club. Together with his father/agent Hans, he visited the Bayern campus as a youth player in 2019. In the end, he decided to move from Cologne to Leverkusen because of the geographical proximity and direct promotion to the first team. But Bayern have never lost contact with Wirtz.

Uli Hoeneß invited Wirtz's parents to visit him at his home in Tegernsee, even after the move to Leverkusen. Their parents accepted the invitation and had a meeting with Hoeneß. The latter refused to answer the subject when questioned by Sport Bild.
