Error after error after error. Identical two minutes spells in both halves is why we lose this game.
Minutes 4 and 5 in the first half and minutes 55 and 56 in the second. Punished by Haaland who got a hat-trick and great talent Oscar Bobb.
Tosin and Colwill (harsh pen) for the first, Caicedo for the 2nd, Sterling and Colwill for the 3rd and Gusto for the 4th. These individual errors need to be cut out ahead of the season as will be very costly.
Pre-season is the best time to make these errors at least. With the style we’re trying to play, this will happen though.
Sterling scored a nice goal from a Madueke assist and Madueke took his goal well, Lavia with a great pass to set him up. Lavia key in both goals.
We did have to chances to score more with Nkunku, Enzo and Madueke as well. Concerning the number of goals we’ve conceded in pre-season which is now 10 but at least we’re creating.
A City side missing a lot of senior players which is a concern but they’re such a well coached team that have been managed by Pep for years, they all know their roles so the personnel isn’t a big deal to them.
A lot of patience needed and only two friendlies to go now till the season, so the pre-season excuse is wearing thin. We face Real Madrid in our final warmup game next on Wednesday. #CFC #chelseatruebluesfans
