According to reports, Manchester City has set their sights on Atletico Madrid defender Nahuel Molina as a potential transfer target for the upcoming summer window. While City is still in the running for the treble of the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League, Pep Guardiola is expected to make some changes to his squad, particularly in central midfield, where one key player's future is uncertain.

However, the full-back positions are also a concern, with Joao Cancelo potentially leaving after his loan spell with Bayern Munich, and long-serving Kyle Walker due to turn 33 later this month. Guardiola is reportedly considering Molina as a solution to this issue. Molina, who can play at right wing-back and right midfield, has had a successful season in La Liga, contributing three goals and two assists in 28 starts.

If City were to express interest, Atletico would demand around €60m (£52.25m) for the 25-year-old, who has a contract until 2027. If Molina were to depart, Atletico would need to sign two new right-backs, as Matt Doherty is expected to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Molina would be the perfect replacement for Cancelo
