Carvalho has been impressive during Liverpool’s pre-season tour in the United States, scoring in wins against Arsenal and Manchester United.
Despite his pre-season performance, Carvalho might struggle for first-team opportunities once players like Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Cody Gakpo return from their breaks after the Copa America and Euro 2024.
Several other clubs are also interested in Carvalho, who was on loan at RB Leipzig and Hull City last season. He scored nine goals in 20 games for Hull City, and another loan move is seen as a last resort.
